"ECOlab" expanded production of drugs in the Moscow region for 500 million rubles

According to Zinovieva, the company has opened a sixth workshop, where medicines and medical products will be manufactured. As a result of the expansion, more than 50 jobs have been created.

In January 2025, the Main Directorate of State Construction Supervision of the Moscow Region reported that the new ECOlab building was 90 percent ready. At that time, the investment volume was estimated at 297 million rubles. The facility with an area of ​​4.5 thousand square meters was planned to be launched in the first quarter of 2025. It was supposed to produce up to 405 million units of packaged products annually.

"ECOlab" produces diagnostic products, enzyme immunoassay test systems and other kits for in vitro research, as well as products for immunological and biochemical research. Diagnostic kits are supplied to various clinical diagnostic laboratories in Russia, medical products - to the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The company currently produces over 400 product names. The expansion of capacity will allow the volume of drug production to double, including in the form of gels and capsules. In the future, it is planned to expand the range of drugs, including those included in the list of vital and essential drugs.

According to SPARK-Interfax, Ecolab JSC was registered in 2003 in the Moscow region. The owners are unnamed Russian citizens. The company's revenue for 2024 amounted to 1.4 billion rubles, net profit - 188.7 million rubles.
